In the message, Collins reassured veterans that their benefits would not be reduced and emphasized the Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) commitment to safeguarding personal data.

Collins also addressed rumors regarding the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), clarifying that its representatives are reviewing contracts to enhance operational efficiency without compromising veterans' services or personal information. He expressed support for partnering with DOGE to identify areas where resources can be reallocated to better serve veterans

I am a current 100% disabled veteran .l been informed by the veterans administration that there is going to be a reduction in my benefits in October 2025.but the va director advises that there are not going to reduce any veterans benefits in 2025.l need my va benefits intact wholly because it is the only income l have and l can't work due to this disability my name is Michael szalai 519 flail dr stroudsburg pa 18360.my va file #is c26980276 my social security #is 154441420 my serial service # ib271825.please advise if this reduction is going to take place and how to stop it or appeal it .please respond by postal mail.
